MK Harb is a writer and researcher from Beirut, Lebanon.

Georgetown University (BSFS-2014); Harvard University (MA-2018)

I have over seven years of experience in qualitative and quantitative research—my work focuses on urbanism, architecture, and social class. I was awarded best thesis at Georgetown University and at Harvard University in the fields of anthropology and middle eastern studies.

Creative Writing:

I’m an avid lover and writer of fiction and my short stories often explore the past and future of cities, technology, gender, friendships, and family relations.

Editorial:

From 2020 to 2023 I served as the Editor at Large for Asymptote Journal writing and comissioning over ten interviews, literature reviews, playlists, and op-eds. I have edited and consulted on a variety of cultural projects and publications.
